Rosemary Nissen-Wade: Aussie poet and teacher of metaphysics – a personal view
My bestie nicknamed me SnakyPoet on her blog, and I liked it. (It began as
'the poet of the serpentine Northern Rivers' and became more and more abbreviated.)

Stupid White Man

Can't say I appreciated a remark from Grahame Morris (former Prime Minister's former Chief of Staff) on Q&A last night. How would carbon trading damage Aussie workers, he was asked. His answers did make some sense in terms of economics. The bit I objected to was when he gazed through the camera at the home audience and referred to all of us watching on our "big plasma screens" which Government policy might render us unable to afford.

Speak for yourself, Mr Morris! Not all of us can afford big plasma screens even now.

  1. Its nice to know that politicians don't magically improve when they aren't American. BTW, 30 Poems in 30 days is on for September. I hope to see you there.
